by Chuckleslovakia, 3 years agoUnfortunately it doesn't have a whitelist so it (Rarely!) borks a few sites here and there. I leave it off unless it's explicitly needed. I very much appreciate the idea and drive to get rid of amp links.
If anyone is wondering, here's the most barebones breakdown of what AMP does: it can speed up certain sites' load-times but it's also just another sneaky user data...

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16348141, 2 years agoI'm using this on Android Beta and it works great except for links under Google News tab. I have to long press the link, close the pop up box, then I can click the link, otherwise it'll keep looping to the news results. Please figure a way to make this work seamlessly, and then it'll be a perfect 5 stars.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Jeremiah Lee, 3 years agoDe-AMP for Firefox. Bypass Google-hosted AMP pages and go directly to the original website. Similar to Brave browser’s De-AMP, only this extension came first. Excellent!

- Rated 5 out of 5by anonymous-dev, 3 years agoExcellent extension! It would be even better if it worked also on national google domains, such as google.co.uk, and not just on google.com.

Unfortunately I found some pages from Google News still stay in AMP on Mobile Firefox Nightly (I enabled this add-on on Android and it seems to work fine with many pages. Great.)
