- Rated 1 out of 5by NothingTheta, 12 hours agouBlock censors content added to posts by users of a service. Not just "big evil ads" but small affiliate links, at the bottom of pages, by small solo developers. In my opinion this is a gross overreach of what uBlock Origin should be used for. uBlock Origin should block ads, not small affiliate links added by developers just making something for fun and just wanting a little bit back.
It is ridiculous for uBlock origin to censor the content people post like this, why do they think they are the deciders of what content is allowed to exist on the internet? Shameful.
I can see the reason for a opt in filter list for things like affiliate links for those who care, but on by default censoring users content is ridiculous. - Rated 5 out of 5by Yuji, 21 hours ago
