by Firefox user 13555324, a month agoIt's OK when it works, but could be so much better and more user friendly.
Has just stopped working for the 2nd time in the last few months. Disabling/ reenabling doesn't help. Seems like a complete removal/ reinstall is the only thing that works.

Otherwise generally works well, Bitwarden is the cheapest password manager option that does not require self hosting. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18018390, 20 hours ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by CB, 2 days agoAbout 6 month ago quality of app dropped tremendously. I've faced:
1) random logouts (up to 10 per hour),
2) bugs with interface (I can't see full password in password field because cursor can't reach the end of the line),
3) even if I choose option not to ask to add new logins the app sometimes still asks to add 'em,
4) new popup window that appears on focus of input fields 9/10 times prevents to see info or click a field below the one you focused... So annoying.
I hope bitwarden dev team will find a better way to test app before release. - Rated 3 out of 5by Jason, 3 days ago[06/24]
Logging out issue been plaguing the extension for months. Devs fully aware, keep promising a fix and each update another disappointment. Fingerprint passphrases also don't match up, another security issue. Still, tried every other psw mngr and HATE them. Even with the bugs BW has the best User Experience.
I miss Lockwise. It just worked. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13550011, 3 days agoI love bitwarden, but extension is very bad. In the last few weeks, It immediately stopped working for no reason. Lost setting, I set pin to unlock, and I have to log in with full password almost every time and set pin again and again. If I set it as "never lock", it causes infinite loading, and you have to log out and set all settings. Development is fine but without tests, it is destructive.

- Rated 1 out of 5by pb06, 5 days agoExcruciatingly slow. Forgets settings. No sync of settings beween web / plugin / app. cannot browse structure. Cannot determine where you are saving password (which vault, which location). Saving grace is that search / fill function is OK. Not great - just OK.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Mhisani, 5 days agoBitwarden logs me out after a day or so for no reason. I resetup and then again total utter logout after. Also after the random logout relogging in results in no syncing and locking up of the extension.Have to totally remove and reinstall bitwarden extension to setup again. 24 hours or so later we begin the same merri-go-round. Perhaps we can get this looked at pronto. And could we at least get some public feedback from Bitwarden, perhaps even on this page so users don't give up.

- Rated 2 out of 5by bryan, 5 days agoVersion 2024.4.2 doesn't work. Locks up the browser if enable/disable to try and get it working, even. It's been two weeks and there's no hot fix or rollback.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Usman Kamal, 6 days agoRuined the experience with latest update on Windows 10 - Firefox 126.0 (64-bit). Unable to see any passwords at all even though signed in and unlocked the vault successfully.
Breaking the necessary functionality at the cost of pushing out dumb UI updates. Name a more iconic duo. - Rated 5 out of 5by DeepDive9984, 6 days agoThis is an excellent add-on, because it works in all of my platforms, all my PCs. I can share passwords with my family (have paid for the family account and it's definitely worth it), I can use it via CLI if I need to login to my remote system and can use it to generate secure passwords with a variety of rules.
I also *love* that I can setup my own container and point my apps towards it, giving me 100% ownership of my data, however I find that unnecessary, as I am very satisfied with the online version. - Rated 2 out of 5by comnom, 6 days agoCan't login with new Firefox (PC) install due to captcha not loading. Disabling all other addons allows login (why would I do this with Firefox, no reason to use it otherwise) but there are no settings for a persistent login (Don't wanna type my 64+ char master every time). On Android it still can't tell a browser login from an app login, functionality that should've been added ages ago. Way down in quality from the last time I used it years ago. Hopefully they get it together, used to be a groundbreaking app.
