Reviews for Bitwarden Password Manager
Bitwarden Password Manager by Bitwarden Inc.

by Nyaa, 3 months agoAnnoying popup on password/username fields that can not be disabled. If I wanted to access Bitwarden, I would click the icon or use my hotkeys. Uninstalling it because I'm just going to use the desktop app, because the browser extension is apparently an annoyance.

I lost a lot of work because of this terrible product. I should not have to copy paste every password manually like if I was just using a damn notes document on my desktop...
It also forgets all my settings and logs out on browser restart. I have to set up my pin every time.
I am moving to a paid service, since free ones clearly can't do their job. - Rated 2 out of 5by DavidE, a day agoThis WAS a great password minder, UNTIL it started logging out every day and you have to keep logging back into it. THAT is why we dump password minders.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Zz, 2 days agoI had about 3-4 problematic days where it would freeze and require me to restart Firefox but it is now fixed and I don't have any issues thus far. It still is my best password manager to date.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Ramouz, 2 days agoThe Firefox addon was great until the last 2 months when it started logging us out every night. The next day, you're forced to log in using your password as Biometrics refuses to work due to the bug, but logging in fails (just keeps spinning) so you have to either restart the browser or disable/enable the addon (quicker).
Bitwarden told me that they're working on a fix, about a month ago. Alas, the fix was launched today and not only did it not fix the issue, but it made it worse. Now, not only do we have to just enter the password (since Biometrics doesn't work when it logs us out on its own), we now have to enter our email as well. So, it fully signs us out. Basically, the support team lied to me and others. They did not fix this but made it worse. - Rated 5 out of 5by adicow, 3 days ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Rakshall, 3 days agoVery nice password manager, but amount and frequency of bugs in the extension is disheartening. It would be fine if they were fixed relatively fast, but fixing anything (including high usability issues) takes minimum few or even dozen months. This is unacceptable in software that is part of commercial service.

- Rated 3 out of 5by hipster_stalin, 4 days agoWhen it works, it works great. But recently, over the past year or so, there have been way too many bugs and problems with Bitwarden and the Firefox extension. It is still one of the best options out there, but I'm constantly looking for better options. I've been with Bitwarden since the very beginning and it's gotten too big for its britches.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14580606, 5 days agoIf I could give it zero stars I would. For the past month this extension has not worked. Forces log outs even before browser restarts. Locks up the internet in the browser so it never connects until the plugin is disabled. Why do I even pay for this password manager in the first place when the extension always has problems. This is the at least 3rd failed update in less than a year.
