If you use the same browser for work and personal browsing, WebLocker lets you keep certain sites out of sight without closing them. Locked pages are covered by a dark overlay, and their tab titles are disguised so nothing is revealed in the tab bar either.
How to use it:
Key features:
100% local and private. WebLocker has no accounts, no servers, and no data collection. All your settings are stored locally in your browser.

How to use it:
- Click the WebLocker icon in your toolbar.
- Add any domain you want to keep private (e.g. youtube.com, reddit.com).
- When you visit that site, it will be fully covered by a lock screen.
- Click "Unlock" on the overlay to temporarily reveal the page.
- The site automatically re-locks after a period of inactivity.
Key features:
- Full-page lock overlay that completely hides page content
- Tab title disguise — locked tabs show a custom title (default: "Locked") so the tab bar doesn't give anything away
- Smart auto-lock timer based on inactivity — active browsing keeps the site unlocked, and the timer only starts when you stop interacting or switch tabs
- Free-time schedule — optionally disable locking during certain hours and days (e.g. evenings and weekends)
- Quick actions from the popup — add, lock, or unlock the current site with one click
