About this extension
WalkReminder helps you avoid long sedentary browsing sessions by showing in-page walk reminders on websites you choose.
What it does:
- Track active time on configured domains (for example, youtube.com)
- Trigger a reminder once your threshold is reached
- Repeat reminders at your configured repeat interval
- Let you snooze (5/10/15 min) or dismiss reminders
- Support custom per-site messages and global defaults
Why it’s useful:
- Builds movement breaks into your normal browsing habits
- Helps reduce uninterrupted sitting time during long video/reading sessions
- Keeps reminder logic local in the browser with no analytics tracking
Privacy:
WalkReminder does not collect or transmit browsing analytics. Settings are stored in extension storage only.
