The way it's designed is for readability without integrating other functionalities as it doesn't use CSS themes but rather a URL with back-end to process Wikipedia articles - which may contribute to lag.

- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon Martijn, vor 9 MonatenGreat idea, but execution is poor. Has too many issues, distractions (install on firefox banner when you've got it installed...) and weird features. Like how it doesn't play nice with Dark Reader and the useless but very prominent AI summary. For the last couple of weeks every article only has an intro and an "Oops something went wrong: 404" error so I finally switched to Modern for Wikipedia.
- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon mMm, vor einem JahrUninstalling Wikiwand after years of use due to broken formatting and annoying video ads that pops up (I don't even know if the video is an ad. It just show a woman at a coffeeshop?!). I recommend anyone who uses Wikiwand to compare the pages to the original Wikipedia page because the content does not match anymore. SAD!

- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon MarkoF, vor 4 JahrenLooks nice, but the central column with the text is so narrow that it renders the page unreadable and useless.
- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 15086705, vor 5 JahrenIt does what it says. Entries are now much more pleasing. An annoyance is that if you're editing in Wikipedia, you start with Wiki's standard layout, but after preview it goes back into Wikiwand mode.
The biggest problem is that the Wikiwand site now can capture your every access to Wikipedia. That's why I uninstalled this even though I liked the other results.
I would've given this 4 stars if not for the privacy issue. - Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon Igor , vor 6 JahrenLatest version is suspicious. It says only "small fixes", but it asks for additional permissions - access browser activity! Besides that nice add-on.

geschrieben am vor 6 JahrenThis webNavigation permission is needed for us in order to be able to set cookie for the wikiwand.com domain when your page is loaded. We need this cookie to let our backend know if the corresponding user has the wikiwand extension or not. Later we will sync functionality of the Firefox extension with the Chrome extension and, for instance, Firefox user will have an ability to Ctrl+Click on terms and give immediate Wikiwand pop-up with term definition. To implement such a thing we need to have an ability to inject our client JS scripts into the pages. Please refer our Chrome web store where you will find more details about further functionality - Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon 18HopeCSF, vor 6 JahrenIt's nice and cool, but I don't like the idea of promoting a website that just copies wikipedia. Also, there are not sooooo many "cool features" as you imagine when you read the description.
