No account, username, or profile setup is required. WebRoom uses a randomly assigned emoji as a temporary identity for each participant.

WebRoom stays as a small floating interface on the page and doesn't require you to open another website or application.


WebRoom is designed as a decentralized real-time layer for the web. There is no WebRoom account system, centralized chat database, or traditional social network.

The goal is simple:

WebRoom is currently focused on real-time presence and text chat, with more peer-to-peer communication capabilities planned for the future.
