eso si, seria bueno una barra para ver constantemente la ip y una banderita para saber de donde es la conecion.
- von skaizun, vor 3 JahrenBewertet mit 3 von 5 SternenAlthough this IP finder works, it opens a new tab, showing, essentially, the same information that the icon's pop-up does. In other words, not only is it redundant, it takes up additonal resources, unnecessarily. Since the tab "feature" can't be turned-off, this is no better (and, arguably, worse) than accessing an IP finder on the web. I removed it from my add-ons.
- von Firefox-Benutzer 12658984, vor 4 JahrenBewertet mit 5 von 5 SternenHandful tool but doesn't work on Ubuntu 16.04 with Firefox since version 49 to 50.
Tried Fresh Firefox install, uninstall/ reinstall IP Tools, disable/remove Ublock....but the icon still doesn't show up.
Ctrl + Shift+ I just show the dev console.
Am I missing something ?
- von Firefox-Benutzer 11326806, vor 4 JahrenBewertet mit 5 von 5 SternenHi. I use the Pale Moon browser and version 27 will make jetpack/sdk extensions not work. I love this extension and would love to continue to use it. Can you please convert? Thanks!
- von Vishal, vor 4 JahrenBewertet mit 5 von 5 SternenThis tool has been one of the very handy tools when you wish to check the IP address of a domain quickly without having to take trouble of any third party website. Very handy, and also gives vivid options, right from IP address, IP location, RDNS etc..right till the web ranking.
It has helped me all along for websites which users host and manage from www.domainstack.in
- von JonCon, vor 6 JahrenBewertet mit 3 von 5 SternenProbably this best and most through ip information addon I have seen on Firefox. However, on one of my profile. I have it set to be in private mode all the time. The icon totally disappears. I have gone into customize and reset my layout. It appears with no icon when I try to put it in the menu or on the toolbar, it is gone again.
Hopefully, this will be updated soon.
- von Falling Rock, vor 6 JahrenBewertet mit 4 von 5 SternenGreat set of information here. Problem - This afternoon, I opened the extension v2.0.2 from the IP icon in Firefox' Toolbar. Used it to investigate a few hosts, for a few minutes, and then left the system running. The monitor went to the bootup (Welcome?) background after a half-hour, without logging out. On entering PW for my Admin user acct., the previous Desktop [M$ Win8 (x64)] displayed on monitor immediately (am using StartMenu8 to give me my preferred, Windows7 style, desktop with Taskbar, etc.), and Firefox browser v37.0.2 was standing open with same tabs set as before, BUT, the IP button was missing from the Toolbar in Firefox! IP button icon is not available in the Customize dialog box nor in the Toolbar icons dialog. However, the extension is fully listed in Firefox Add-ons Manager's Extensions view , same as always. What happened to the IP button? How can I get it back?
- von aleangelico, vor 6 JahrenBewertet mit 3 von 5 SternenApparently this extension uses nslookup or similar to check the web site ip address. The problem is this could be different from the real web server serving the website. In other words, it's not showing the website IP address, it's showing the ip configured in the DNS for this webserver.
- von Firefox-Benutzer 10279639, vor 6 JahrenBewertet mit 5 von 5 SternenAddon is awesome, but looks like it is incompatible with latest v25 of PaleMoon x64 browser http://www.palemoon.org/palemoon-x64.shtml Does not show addon icon in toolbar.
Worked fine with previous versions.
- von 4slam, vor 7 JahrenBewertet mit 4 von 5 SternenIt's a helpful addon and seems to generally work* in FX 29 except that the default tab setting in the Options tab is no longer sticky. It reverts back to IPv4.
*May need an extension like The Addon Bar, Classic Theme Restorer, etc.
- von massdave, vor 7 JahrenBewertet mit 4 von 5 SternenSadly the incredibly lame FF v29 release renders the addon nonexecutable so, if you have not "upgraded" and you like using this tool, then save yourself some aggravation and do not install FF v29, since it only removes features and offers no benefit other than sleek lack-of-features.
- von Firefox-Benutzer 5692377, vor 7 JahrenBewertet mit 2 von 5 SternenNotably, the same results are available merely by going to http://www.tcpiputils.com/ and typing in the URL you're curious about, although that would take a moment longer.
The Add-on technically does work, but the information displayed is translucent to such a great degree that the underlying web page "bleeds" into the "IP Address and Domain Information" window. In short, it's really, really distracting -- and difficult, at least for me -- to look at the readouts. I can't imagine why the developer would choose this on purpose, and I don't think it's a bug, but intentionally programmed.
By the way, a due diligence check of the support site link shows that it links to their site, but there is no support section on that page, nor on that site, that I was able to find.
The Add-on will embed graphic PPC/CPM advertisements within the results it shows you. I wasn't able to find any warning, setting, or explanation anywhere in the product that offered an explanation as to how the ads do or don't effect me as a user. They simply appear. That seems like a privacy issue that should be addressed.
Based on the visual design issue above and my inability to understand how my browsing privacy might be effected, I chose to uninstall the Add-on.
- von venuscreats, vor 8 JahrenBewertet mit 5 von 5 SternenI really like to this addon and it is working fine with complete details.but need to update the icon of the addon.it is not showing in the addon bar as highlighted.please change it to good one.
- von Firefox-Benutzer 6678030, vor 8 JahrenBewertet mit 5 von 5 SternenI do like the functionality of this add on. My only complaint: It would be nice if the icon was not associated with the add-on bar. As my toolbar auto hides it then reveals the add-on bar which does not auto hide and thus is a waste of real-estate across the entire bottom of the screen, even when the icon is pinned to the menu bar.
