Currently ruined by File Access Error Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternen

I loved this addon, but in the past 6 months or so, maybe half of the downloads fail and give me a "file access error".

No solutions so far. And the partial download disappears, so I have to restart all of the time. With big files, it's become a frustrating addon.

And the only reason I still use it is for the limiting of the download speed. IT IS BAFFLING that firefox does not have a simple way to limit the speed of the downloads. In my case, downloading something eats up all the speed and I can't do anything else in meantime. That's when I use downthemall, but now it fails half of the times.

File management via the Manager Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

Downloaded file names (or numbers) can be intervened and auto-sorted consecutively, if they are in one output download folder, such as 0001 > 1 > 0002 > 2 ... 0100 > 100, so on. This is very difficult to select and extract in the folder.

If you add the right-click ability of cutting/moving the downloaded files by selecting them directly on the Manager window, it will be great.

Many thanks!

It slows down my internet Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

Whenever I'm downloading something with this add-on, it slows down my internet drastically to the point where if I try connecting to a website, it just says it couldn't connect. If you use Steam to download a game, same thing happens, so maybe it's related. But when I download something using Firefox downloader, my internet doesn't slow down.

Edit: I just tried using Firefox Downloader and that also slows down. I guess it depends on how big the download is.

Is it possible to sort downloads with the filters? Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

I have one download folder with different subfolders for videos, audio files, pictures, various text files (txtx, docx, odt, pdf...) and binaries (programs, installers, archives...)
Problem is, DtA! puts ALL files into ONE folder (i.e. the download folder) and I have to sort them manually, which can be tedious.

So is it possible to use filters to also sort downloaded files in different folders?
For instance: download .mp4/.mkv/.avi/.flv in "downloads\video", .mp3/.ogg/.wav in "downloads\audio",
.txt/.pdf/.docx/.odt files into "downloads\text", and .msi/.exe/.zip/.rar into "download\bin"?

I already tried to adjust the regex accordingly, but that didn't work.

more columns please :) Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

File conflict sucks Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternen

File conflict dialog does not offer you to resume non pausable downloads. Not suitable for large file downloads in Google Drive.Meanwhile other download manager has offered resume using already existing download part.

Was really good but recently it corrupts all my videos Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternen

Was a really good addon and very convenient. However, recently it corrupts all the videos I download with this addon. Some videos would play for 20-30mins then get stuck and restart while some get prompts in VLC to reidex. When I download the same video without this addon, the videos play perfectly fine.

Unimpressed...I found myself neglecting this add-on in favor of the default downloading process.

DownThemAll Review Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

DownThemAll is a very useful add-on as it can boost download speed noticeably. Very useful when downloading big files from a far away or a slow server. So far, it is pretty stable and I have no problems with it.

A download manager that loses the download if the machine is turned off is useless.

One Awesome Downloader Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

I've been using this add-on for the past few days ever since I switched to using Firefox for most of my browsing needs (still use chrome for a couple of sites) and not only has it meet my expectations it surpassed them to no end. I would suggest using this add-on when you want to batch download a lot of files because it does an awesome job at that.

The best download manager Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Used this add-on way back with Firefox 3.5 and this is still one of the first add-ons that I install! Thank you!

Excellent Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

The best in-browser download manager that one can have. It has automatic retries and much more. By downloading many segments at a time, rate limiting servers need not make us wait.

Было случайно нашел этк програмку и какого было мое удивление насколько он быстро скачивает, стоковые качалки браузеров вообще в сравнение не идут.
