I agree with Korkenwine review, the lack of Tabs Search options is a major missing option. Like many, when doing extensive online researching or shopping, I can easily have over 1K - 2K Tabs open, can get very hard to navigate in TST, do not always have time to go thru & clear out unwanted research tabs daily, that is why TST would be best to stay on top, to help quickly save multi list of ever growing tabs for later.
Again, TST is problaly the best (All in one) extension have found in last few years, but after so much troubleshooting, just cannot get TST to work consistently.
I am also using a fairly new Windows 10 64Bit Acer laptop, (not a 32Bit). I have ( 16GB RAM 1TB STORAGE), so I doubt if my PC hardware is the issue, as even most of the outdated Tabs extensions tested work, but have disabled them, due to lack of addtl options or updates. So my search, (would gladly Pay for even) for the closest TST addon & Full Tabs Mgr continues, until it gets worked out. Cheers!

Great concept, after trying hundreds of addons, TST has to be one of the top extensions , with most useful features if have many Tabs, & need in user friendly vertical drop down view, for quick navigation & saving, So we do not have to keep installing & removing several outdated junk extensions , that only do a few basic Tab management options in Windows 10 PCs.
**Really wish Firefox & other Top browsers, would create a built-in browser extension like Tree style tabs , with most useful features if have many Tabs need in user friendly vertical drop down view, for quick navigation & desired selection of Multi Tabs saving & bookmarking etc.
Even though Tree style Tabs is a great concept, but like others have said, it just has far too many
Bugs & issues , so cannot even use it hardly at this time.
Like many, I also Used to use the older Tree style Tabs version until it, like most addons became outdated, & full of issues.
Was very excited when this new version was released recently, with many more options, but sadly, have still not been able to get it to work correctly last few most current Firefox versions.
TST loads all of my few hundred Tabs in vertical TST Sidebar, but that’s it, cannot search thru, or scroll
Thru more only 12 tabs out of a few hundred, TST doe nothing, tree style keeps freezing up.
After spending days & hours scouring thru all the Tree style Tabs FAQs, & support forums pages, have always had bug reports enabled, also keep restarting cache, unchecking & rechecking all options, many times, to no avail.
Like many, just do not have nay more time or energy to diagnose why TST addon not working still.
***Would be great (if TST Developers put in a Built-in Errors & Bugs troubleshooter & Fix option) so we do not have To keep trying to figure all TST's issues & bugs with each Browser version update.
Again great concept, could be the one of the Best extensions ever, if developers could
Work out all the ongoing Sidebar Tabs issues & bugs, most other Tab Managers do not have all these issues, So can finally use TST, without all the ongoing headaches.
My online Reviews of Tree style Tabs Rated ( 2.6 out of 5 Stars).

- Rated ৫ out of 5by not36, ২ দিন আগেThe shortcut to select text word by word has been broken by the new feature released on 4.0.16 (2024.6.9). Please enable a config settings to disable this.
ETA: A fix has been pushed and it is making its way to production: https://github.com/piroor/treestyletab/issues/3575 - Rated ৫ out of 5by Lenny, ৪ দিন আগেHave enjoyed this extension for a while now, but the recent update that is "stealing" the macos default option+shift+arrow shortcut is really frustrating!
I just need an option in the (extensive!) list of settings to change or turn off this shortcut!
Edit:
I've learned that the shortcuts can be changed/removed under "Manage Extension Shortcuts" in Firefox's extension settings. - Rated ৩ out of 5by Luca, ৪ দিন আগেI had no issues since recent update where this extension is using Mac shortcut OptionShift LeftArrow/RightArrow to jump to other tabs.
I constantly use those shortcuts to select text, and not being able to disable them in the extension it's a big no-no. I had to disable the whole extension. - Rated ৫ out of 5by Cam, ৬ দিন আগেGreat addon but recent update has overlapping shortcut with default macOS shortcut. shift+option+ left/right arrow key previously could be used to highlight words of text at a time. Recent update has broken this functionality and a way of disabling these shortcuts should be available.
EDIT: Developer is aware of the issue and a fix is on the way. Additional developer has provided a workaround - https://github.com/piroor/treestyletab/issues/3575 - Rated ১ out of 5by Sanika Joshi, ৬ দিন আগেIt's a good add-on, but it stops the Option+Shift+Right-/Left-Arrow combination for selecting words from working in the browser on macOS. This is quite bothersome, as this is a very commonly used key-combination.

The last update has introduced hotkeys, which conflicts with macos default hotkeys (shift + option + arrows = selection of a single word), which is very disturbing - Rated ৫ out of 5by dunyu, ৬ দিন আগে

Auf gar keinen Fall würde ich wieder Tabs oben haben wollen bei der Menge die ich geöffnet habe ist es einfach übersichtlicher. Vielen Dank an Piro - Rated ৫ out of 5by Firefox user 18453743, ১১ দিন আগে

Why does copying (alt+D+enter) a subtab create a new parent tab instead of creating it at the same level?
Please don't update. It gets worse with every update.

Problems in previous versions have been fixed.
Thank you for the quick feedback.
This add-on is one of the best add-ons for Firefox.

This is a really bad update.
The previously intuitive drag/tree creation method has become truly confusing.
01. In the past, if I dragged a tab and put it inside, it created a new subtree, but now I have to drag it on top or bottoem of the tab to create a new subtree. (It’s different every time. What are the rules?)
02. In some cases I can create a subtree of tabs, but in other cases I cannot create a subtree of tabs. It becomes really sensitive when dragging.
03. It is not possible to create a new tree by dragging a child tab that does not have child tabs.
(There's more, but that's all I remember...)
What is the reason for this update??
Instead, it has become really, really confusing.
It would be nice to roll back. At first I thought there was something wrong with Firefox.
The usual tree style tab is 5 stars.
But I'm giving it 1 star because of this update.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this add on is a lifesaver and should be a feature on all browers by default, tabs are elegantly displayed and you can swiftly deduce what is important for further reading and what is unimportant and close them swiftly, trees also automatically form and categorize further if you've branched off from a particular tab, I've just closed 2000+ tabs I've procrastinated closing for approximately 1 month. - Rated ৫ out of 5by CrystalSplitter, ২৫ দিন আগে

Also realization of tab pinning and tab containers is not very convenient. And creating new tab button is (only) on bottom side of page which is not convenient too. Also I always forget about tabs tree and start using native top menu, and tab tree doesn't even (only icon like in chrome mobile groups maybe) copy there.
P.S. Also with 100+ tabs Firefox crashes several time a day, but I'm not sure that's just because tab tree
