- Rated 5 out of 5by Iman, 5 maande geledeA Good and handy extension.
Needs a delay mechanism before selecting a field that depends on another field.Developer response
posted 4 maande geledeYou can add a delay by selecting "Insert Delay" in the bottom red bar. - Rated 5 out of 5by Steve, 4 jaar geledeReally enjoy using this Add-on, saves the few vital seconds when filling in repetitive forms on frequently used web pages.
One improvement would be to enable the user to edit the macros with a simple text based approach.
Currently if you need to edit some text the Macro is entering you need to recreate the whole Macro. - Rated 5 out of 5by David Rowlinson, 5 jaar geledeGreat for my particular needs. Also Developer has been very responsive. Would just like the option to allow Permissions on complete website, i,e, "Https://Example."
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15216117, 5 jaar geledeThis extension is really useful for filling forms. I have a suggestion; I combine this extension with another (Snap Link) which allows me to enter say 15 of the links to different forms. However, SiteMacro states this: "SiteMacro did not execute a macro: Page repeated too quickly." Is there a way to get around it or reduce the timer? By default, snaplink opens a new link every 50 ms, and I increased it to 500 ms, yet there is still the same issue. Is there something I am missing (like reducing the delay required for the macro)? Also, can it close a tab after it is done executing a macro?
Edit: I looked at the source code and found the throttle limit to be 10 seconds, so for now I downloaded it and built it again (with the change of 10000 to 25) - Rated 5 out of 5by Mark, 5 jaar geledeSitedMacro works very well and exactly as described.
One feature request: I am using it sometimes on captive portals where the URL ends in a "?" and then has a custom generated random string like "234522345" appended at the end. On these sites the macro doesn't trigger because the URL after the "?" doesn't match. Is there anyway to get this kind of site to work? Maybe a checkbox to ignore anything after a "?" or way to edit the URL and put a wildcard into the name.
Thanks for the nice plug-in!
EDIT TO ADD: Thanks for implementing the feature I requested!Developer response
posted 5 jaar geledeThe latest version (0.4) allows to apply macros to URLs that start with a given prefix. - Rated 5 out of 5by mdiv666, 5 jaar geledeDo what it should do. For next updates please reconsider to add time delay for executing macro and if it is based on some JS or Jquery some kind of export of data. Great addon.
