About this extension
Use your signing identity in the PDFsuite workflow you already know.
UXstorm® Secure Signing connects Firefox to the UXstorm® Secure Signing Agent on your computer, enabling certificate-backed digital signatures in configured UXstorm® PDFsuite workflows in ServiceNow®.
Start signing from the PDFsuite page. The native Agent validates the ServiceNow® session and PDFsuite license, makes eligible certificates available to the workflow, and signs the requested digest through your operating system or supported token provider. The PDFsuite page provides the document and certificate-selection experience; the extension has no separate popup or PDF editor.
Eligible local certificates and supported CAC/PIV cards or USB tokens can be used when the required reader, drivers, and middleware are installed. Compatibility depends on your organization’s configuration.
Before you begin, you need:
• Access to a configured ServiceNow® instance with a valid UXstorm® PDFsuite license.
• The compatible UXstorm® Secure Signing Agent installed and registered for Firefox on the same computer.
• An eligible signing certificate and any required hardware or middleware.
Privacy: the current page URL and ServiceNow® session context, including cookies and a CSRF token, are passed to the local Agent for validation with your organization’s ServiceNow® instance. Certificate metadata and signatures return to the page. Private keys are not exported to the extension. Online access is required.
The extension is a companion to PDFsuite, not a standalone signing service. For setup and assistance, contact UXstorm support.
