About this extension
Save any page to TaskPocket as a task, with the quotes that matter.
Most clippers close the moment you click the page. The TaskPocket Web Clipper stays open on the page while you read. Select a sentence, click "Add to task", and keep reading. When you have what you need, press Create. Your task lands in TaskPocket with the page link and every quote, ready on the web and on iPhone.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Click the TaskPocket button, press Alt+Shift+K (Option+Shift+K on a Mac), or right-click a page, a link, or selected text.
2. Select more text on the page. An "Add to task" button appears next to it. Each quote is marked on the page so you can see what you took.
3. Pick a project, a date, and tags, then press Create (Cmd+Enter or Ctrl+Enter).
TYPE IT THE WAY YOU THINK
Write the title like a sentence, and TaskPocket fills in the rest:
• "Read the report friday #work !1" sets the day, the tag, and High priority.
• "Call the venue tomorrow at 9am" sets the day and a reminder.
• "Water the plants every monday" makes a repeating task.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED, NOTHING YOU DON'T
• Collect several quotes from one page into one task
• Inbox, Someday, or any project and section
• When date, tags, priority, reminders, and repeats
• Deadlines on TaskPocket Premium
• Come back to a page later and add new quotes to the task you already saved
• Undo right after saving
• Drafts survive a reload, so you never lose what you collected
• Light and dark mode that follow your system
• A compact popup instead of the panel, if you prefer
• Turn the right-click menu off in settings if you like a clean menu
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• The clipper reads a page only after you open it, and only the parts you choose to save.
• What you save goes to your own TaskPocket account and nowhere else.
• No ads, no analytics, and no tracking in the extension.
• Your sign-in stays inside the extension. Disconnect anytime in TaskPocket › Settings.
You need a TaskPocket account to save tasks. The free plan works with the clipper. Sign up at https://taskpocket.io
