About this extension
PWA Installer adds a toolbar button to Firefox that lets you install any website as a standalone app — just like Chrome's built-in "Install as App" feature.
When you visit a site, click the PWA Installer icon in your toolbar. The extension automatically detects whether the page has a web app manifest (name, icon, description) and shows you an Install button. Clicking it opens the site in a clean standalone window with no browser chrome, so it feels and behaves like a native desktop app.
Features:
Detects web app manifests automatically
Opens installed sites in a standalone popup window
Tracks all your installed apps in the My Apps tab
Works on any website, even without a manifest
No data collected, no accounts required
