GlideRead turns online novel chapters into a focused reading view. As you scroll toward the end of a chapter, it loads the next chapter from the same website and adds it below, so you can keep reading naturally.

READ AT YOUR OWN PACE
• Adjust font size, line spacing, reading width, and background and text colors.
• Move between loaded chapters with compact navigation controls and a chapter list.
• Resume saved chapters from your local reading history.

STAY IN CONTROL
• Reading mode is off by default. Open it from the extension popup or the floating button on an authorized site.
• Grant access separately for each website. No website is preauthorized in the shipping package.
• Correct the detected chapter text or next-chapter link when a site's layout needs help.
• Clean up chapter text with optional regular-expression replacement rules. Preview changes and manage rules for all sites or the current site.
• Delete individual reading records, clear your history, or revoke a site's permission.

THREE INTERFACE LANGUAGES
Use English, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese (Taiwan). Follow your browser's language or choose one in settings. Language changes apply across open extension views. GlideRead does not translate or convert novel text.

LOCAL STORAGE, NO ACCOUNT
Reading progress, settings, and rules are stored in your browser on this device. There is no developer-operated data collection server, account sync, advertising SDK, or telemetry. Loading further chapters still contacts the original website and may use your existing site session. If you approve the temporary-tab fallback, the original website can run its own scripts in that tab.

COMPATIBILITY
For desktop Firefox 140 and later. Private windows are not supported. Chapter detection and continuous loading depend on each site's page structure and access restrictions. GlideRead does not bypass logins, paywalls, or verification, and it does not provide an offline novel library.
