CookieSafe - Control cookie permissions

Experienced the earlier-mentioned Firefox loop/hangs following upgrade from 3.1a9. Problem was resolved by creating a new Firefox profile, installing CookieSafe 3.1, clearing all cookies, then importing the saved Exceptions (only!!!). This worked with CookieSafe as the only add-on, as well as with other add-ons.
I rated CookieSafe 4 stars, although for concept and useability, it is a 5+.

Echoing postings re: 4.0 beta 2: CookieSafe displays only an unresponsive "CS" icon. I have used CookieSafe for a long time, exporting its settings for "normalizing" and to install on other FF installs (Linux).
I hope that CS is updated for 4.0.
