- Rated 2 out of 5by luisizan, 21 days agoEmpezó bien, pero hace unas semanas que no funciona. Firefox 131.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Stinkehund, a month agoWhen it decides to work, it's marginally helpful. However, most of the time no controls show up and it's nonfunctional (reinstalled, cleared cache, did all the usual troubleshooting). Not worth keeping around on the off chance that it'll do what it's supposed to do on a given day.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18603001, a month agoCute... Still missing two most imperative function. Download and adRIP! Blocking is too gentle now they started gear up saying "you mf gonna watch a 4m ad for a 20s clip". Well, i hope you pack your lunch cause you're gonna get hit hard. So yeah, it's ripping time!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Rodrigo, 2 months agoHora funciona hora não funciona, é simplesmente imprevisível quando vai funcionar.
- Rated 2 out of 5by VanguardLH, 3 months agoUsed to block ads at Youtube. Removed in v2.0.22. Author said "To comply with Youtube's Adblock Policy, I had to remove all the Ads Management related features." What add-on author has to comply with any Google policy? Google isn't hosting the add-on download. What if Google declared the volume could not be controlled or set to an initial volume level, or display a pop-up player when scrolling through comments, or any of the other options in this add-on? Removing ads that interfered with viewing a video was my primary reason to use this add-on, but that's now gone. Ads blocked were interlaced in the video, not shown elsewhere on the web page outside the video (which an adblocker add-on will handle). I'm reviewing the other settings in this add-on to determine if there is any reason to keep it anymore.
Author's web site says "Please don't send feature requests" to his e-mail, and the Support Email link here is to the same address, so have to post them here as a review.
Feature request for 2 additional options:
- Default video type: All, Shorts, Videos, Unwatched, Watched, Recently uploaded, and Live. Shorts are garbage created usually on smartphones. All is the default which includes Shorts. Would prefer Videos since those are why I visit Youtube.
- Default CC = off. Too many videos have closed captions which I don't need. I have to keep clicking the CC button to get rid of that noise. - Rated 2 out of 5by Cronoo, 3 months agoThe addon was working great but as of the last month there's a bug where when you watch a video it will scroll down to the description on its own.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14366081, 3 months agoScroll Bug when automatically opening description still not fixed.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Basjohn, 3 months agoBroken yet again.
Worked flawlessly for years, didn't for months, was fixed for a few more and now it's dead as a dodo again.
It's a shame because it helps with so many basic QoL (like scrolling audio instead of scrolling away from the video) but it clearly isn't reliable for the foreseeable future. - Rated 2 out of 5by Fixx, 4 months agoAs others have mentioned this is the best addon in this genre but it does not reliably work it seems.
It always works for me in a private window but I have around a 30% success rate when signed in. If I simply clear site data for youtube and remain signed out it works, the second I sign in (and the page reloads) it fails again.
To be clear this isn't "some functionality" is bugged. Its that it seems to be either entirely off or entirely on and I do not know why but it is somehow related to cached site data to a degree. - Rated 2 out of 5by kitkat, 4 months agoThe idea of the extension is great, and there are many great options to customize the player. That said, as I experience it, often the extension is often not activated.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18479956, 4 months agofor some reason this add on ramdomly pauses the videos, probably youtube sabotaging ad blockers but sab them back... otherwise its great.
(no i dont use any other youtube related addons, disabling this removes random pause issue) - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18453980, 4 months agoIt was working perfectly until last month. Now every video just pauses and buffers for eternity at some point. When I deactivated the add-on it stopped happening.
It's not a connection thing since I don't have any other problems with my internet otherwise and it's not an adblocker since I deactivated it some time ago and it was still happening. I also cleared the browser completely. - Rated 2 out of 5by Kyrae, 4 months agolayout is not great, i cant get to comment section because it keep loading new videos recommendations
- Rated 2 out of 5by Artosh, 4 months agoWorked fine for several months, but now its weirdly pausing my videos on random times.
Starting a video, it pauses it after 5-10 seconds without me asking for it.
After unpausing, it again pauses after 5-10s.
Made sure its this addon by disabling everything but this one, and it still happened. Disabling only this one, and have everything else enabled fixes the problem. - Rated 2 out of 5by VagrantGamer, 4 months ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by melerific, 4 months agoi've been using this add-on for a long time and i greatly enjoyed it, but recently i've been having issues when it comes to loading videos. i'd often have to reload the tab several times in order to get a video to play, especially if it started buffering. disabling enhancer for youtube got it to work properly. if this was fixed, id gladly change my review and re-enable it
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17521337, 5 months agoThis used to be a wonderful extension and I think it still can be, but for me the toolbar will not show up on nearly any videos while I'm signed in.
I know it must be difficult developing this to adapt to changes on Youtube, but at this point it is only a CSS skin extension, and nothing more.
I hope it is fixed eventually, but it's been some time now with no fix in sight. - Rated 2 out of 5by iamc24, 5 months agoonly works when a video is loaded from an already loaded youtube page. for example, if i open a video in a new tab, load a video from a google result, or reload the page, it just doesn't work. the only work around is to click the youtube homepage button and then click the browser back button to reload the video, which lets it work again.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14076082, 5 months agoThis WAS an awesome add-on, but not anymore. It ends up making your videos not load, or STOP video, while audio continues. If you're having SERIOUS ISSUES watching YouTube and you have this installed, REMOVE IT!!!

- Rated 2 out of 5by yukikazebr, 7 months agoI have to disable and re-enable this extension every. single. time. I run firefox because it doesn't work from the get go.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15182899, 7 months ago"open in a new tab"- automatic screen expansion does not work when I'm log in. When I'm log out then i it's no problem.
