The main reason I wanted this extension was to make Youtube stop spamming already watched videos, random playlists and useless shorts.
1) It doesn't block already watched videos, it just makes them less visible by hiding the thumbnail and dimming their links;
2) Sometimes it marks random videos as watched, but I never even clicked their links, even less watched them;
3) It cannot block playlists, as far as I used it;
4) It blocks shorts successfully AND entirely (not just dim their links).

Great extension and much lighter than the enhance youtube extension which is also great but slows down the system. I prefer this one

On Android versions Firefox The extension does not work

Bien pour une extension, mais je recommande plutôt d'utiliser des userscripts avec TamperMonkey et assimiliés.

Very slow (even by youtube standards), whatever what the dev will say: sometimes takes almost a minute to load a youtube video, and often will fail to load the full page, with the comments.

Very buggy: again, often failing to load a page fully, the mini-player suddenly not appearing anymore when scrolling down, or among many others, the limiting to H.264 not working reliably (to be fair, it only reliably works with enhanced-h264ify, whichever main youtube extension I use). Even the menu is buggy: the search bar will always cover the link to go back in the menu (so one has to close that search bar again and again), and if used in the extension panel (as opposed to using it pinned), it won't even fit the window properly, lol!

Fortunately, I discovered a little used extension (Tweaks for youtube: only about 3k users, which is baffling), that is great where Improve youtube isn't at all. I tested them all, and that's the only one I'll keep.

The lag is real and not just a myth, please don't just deny it instead try to fix the issue.

My youtube is lag heavily for at least couple months (I even switch to freetube but switch back because it got some problems too).

I tried browser switcher and many things but never solve the problem. Pretty much youtube will lag heavily (pause and move 5 second can take over 5 seconds to respond) after I use it for more than 5-10 minutes.

Today I just remove the extention and the problem solved. I've been using youtube for at least over 3 hours now and there's no lag anymore.

Please don't say any excuse and try to fix the issue.

I usually only open less than 5 tabs on my browser and saying that you guys are just some volunteer is not a reason to not fix your extention.

Excelent Add-On. Works like a charm. Feature requests:
1. Option to default disable auto-dubbing aka always choose different dub than English if available, which can't be set in YT's own settings :( I'd like to have auto translated subs, but n.e.v.e.r auto translated dubs. I rather understand nothing & be forced to learn than to be kept dumb
2. A search field above the playlists add-to popup. I've watched youtube since day 1 back in 2005 and I've build up quite a library of playlists over the years to organise the vids I like/-d or find/found interesting and wanna save. So much so, that I now sometimes unknowingly end up remaking playlist (names) or alternate version bc I didn't know I already had a matching list to save to. Plus, when I do remember (99.9%), I sometimes need to scroll through all the lists to find the matching list to save to, which can be troublesome bc when scrolling on normal speed, the matching list can easily be overlooked by accident, leading to rescrolling and rescrolling and rescrolling till I finally find the list
