A discarded tab is one that looks like an open tab in your list of tabs, but that Firefox does not consider active and is not stored in RAM. This is a bug in Firefox for Android that looks likely to be resolved by Mozilla within a few months.

    Emergency bugfix - workaround released due to bug in Firefox that has been confirmed by Mozilla (add-on permissions downgrade handling was broken).

    No changes made from last version except "webRequest" permission re-added. Note that although the permission is asked for, it is never used, so your privacy is maintained. This resolves the Firefox bug.
