Reduced the backup size i half after deleting the bookmarks. Deleting empty folders acts bit weird, you have to search and delete multiple times to get rid of empty folders. Other than it worked perfect to remove duplicates.

After importing my bookmarks from another browser and finding that I've clobbered my bookmarks with duplicates and junk, this addon perfectly helped me fix the issue in 5 minutes or less. All the other addons regarding duplicate bookmarks were trash in comparison.

Such a wonderful tool to remove duplicate bookmarks! Firefox should include this function to bookmark manager by default.

does delete dupes, but I can see no way to organize the remaining bookmarks. So you wind up with tons of duplicate folders and no way to delete dupe folders and organize remaining bookmarks.
