Highlightly 的隱私權保護政策
Highlightly 作者: Emile
Effective date: 15 July 2026
Highlightly is a browser extension that lets you save text highlights and notes from web pages. This policy explains how the extension handles information.
Highlights, notes, project names, custom colours, and the source URL and title of a saved highlight are stored locally in your browser using the browser's extension storage. Highlightly does not operate an account system or a cloud-sync service for this information.
This information remains on your device unless you export it, delete it in the Highlightly library, or remove the extension. Removing the extension may remove its locally stored data, depending on your browser settings.
Highlightly runs on web pages so that it can show and restore the highlights you have created. It only saves page text when you actively select text and choose to create a highlight. It does not collect your browsing history or send the contents of pages to Highlightly.
Highlightly Plus is an optional one-time purchase. Payments are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. Highlightly does not receive or store your card number or other payment-card details. ExtensionPay may process information necessary to provide checkout, confirm a purchase, and determine whether Plus is active. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy notices.
Highlightly does not use advertising, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics. It does not sell, rent, or share your highlight and note data.
You can edit or delete individual highlights and notes, delete all highlights from a page, delete projects and custom colours, or remove the extension at any time. You can also export project data from the Highlightly library.
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
