Deleting reviews wont cover up the problem! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Go ahead and delete this and I will write it again! Mozilla used to be the good guys and ever since they took the Google money they have gone to hell in a handbasket. The ACR is just one symptom of a larger problem. 3.6 was a great browser and it enabled users to have power, privacy and security. Then rapid-release starts and suddenly our add-ons get sabotaged and the direction is clear. Just look at the dumbed-down interface. If we set up custom toolbars they instantly are refused on reboot. They want a UI with no user control and no privacy. Heck, even the back, forward and refresh buttons are vanishing! Google's fingerprints are all over this one. You go online and in their view you are there to be spied on!
This has everything to do with the ACR. Now users have lost the ability to force it to run add-ons. With rapid-release destroying our ability to run the add-ons that once made Firefox special and loved by so many some of us are going to fight back and we will not be silenced!
Good- but it shouldn't be necessary Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This one works as advertised- but the whole compatibility system clearly needs an overhaul. Mozilla is being slow to approve updates and many excellent ( and sometimes abandoned) apps work perfectly fine and ARE compatible and they just need the version number updated. Veteran users will easily be able to edit the version number but that is too much for the average users. Tech should be like wine. It should be something you enjoy- not something you stress over. Until they fix the IMO needlessly difficult system this one will do the job well. They also should drop the scary language about this only being for beta users as this works well and fixes an issue that should not exist in the first place. Someone who has the know-how should step in and devise improvements in the compatibility system. ** For Sandro** Yes, you can roll back to previous versions. Back up your data and then get the setup file for the version you want and install that version. I firmly believe that 3.6 is the best browser on the planet- but you could get any older version here: http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.phpĐánh giá này là cho một phiên bản trước của tiện ích (0.8.7).
