Трохи більш докладно...

I've been using FireFox as my default and only browser since 2004. Since I recently lost my add-on account info I had to create a new one.
There are some very helpful add-ons offered for FF and I have contributed to some of the authors in the past and encourage others to support them as well.
In the past year or two it does seem to me that FireFox is heading in the wrong direction when it comes to what some of us want and what was their original goals. I realize the technology is changing rapidly and some folks want all the latest bells and whistles, but some of us just want a basic lightweight and secure browser and are very choosy about what we add.

Instead of integrating everything like for example Hello, Pocket, and Reader and others, some of us might be happier if FF considered either making two separate browsers or better yet, making the optional parts truly optional by the user. Have a download button for the latest basic browser and on the same page offer those "Official" add-ons FF would have or could have put in the browser. Offer them ala-carte making FF more of a modular browser only incorporating essentials for browsing and security. By putting the "Official" add-ons on the page with the update or download the user is aware of them at the time they get the latest update or browser install instead of having to stumble across them six weeks later.

Anyway...just an idea.

In spite of some dislikes I continue to support FireFox.

Refuses to work Оцінка 1 з 5 зірок

Have already wasted too much time trying to get this to work. FF keeps insisting the Video Converter package is not installed although I went through the process twice and re-started the browser.
Moving on to something else. Have used FF exclusively since 2004 but it gets worse with each update. Tired of the trials.

Tree Style Tab

It Just Makes Sense Оцінка 5 з 5 зірок

With the wide screens we have now it just makes sense to have more on the sides than on the top or bottom.

I have used Tree Style Tab for probably over two years and along with Alfred Kayser's Walnut Theme these two are my favorite add-ons of all time. It is highly configurable and as I have switched over to Linux recently I am glad to see it works with my Mint 18 as well as it did in Windows. Only one small difference and that is some of the links at the bottom of the column seem to be missing or hiding. Regardless, I have never had a problem with this program and it makes switching tabs SO much easier! Hope to see this add-on continue and many thanks to Piro. ~ Jim

Walnut for Firefox

The best Оцінка 5 з 5 зірок

I've used this theme for many years and even donated a few years back. Today I installed Linux Operating System and wanted my familiar Walnut Theme for Firefox. After repeatedly searching through the themes this one never came up. Finally had to go outside FF site and do a Google search to find it again. Don't know why it is so hard to find but thought you might like to know. Thanks for the great work.
