Was enjoying the suggested downloader for desktop but it has started requesting access to files it has no business using.

Can download 360p in Firefox, Edge can download 1080p but not everytime available.

After 50 downloads, this bothers the user for a review. Trying this now to see if the dialog goes away.

UPDATE: It did not go away for me. Out this goes... :(

Doesn't rely on external servers for high quality video, so high qualities aren't locked behind a paywall. Compared to the last extension I was using, it has more options for video quality and format, faster video downloads (even when it has to encode), and a less intrusive ui (enable classic mode). Thank you, and great work!

Edit: Had to lower my rating after discovering a major bug with this extension. When I try to use Firefox with only half of my screen, YouTube activates a somewhat different vertical ui. This extension completely breaks YouTube when this happens, and even crashes Firefox. Please fix this!
