TabDSP Privacy Policy

Audio processing. TabDSP processes audio entirely on your device using the Web Audio API. No audio data, page content, page URLs, or browsing history is ever transmitted to any server operated by TabDSP or any third party.

Data collection. TabDSP collects no personal information, browsing history, or usage analytics.

Local settings. All app state — DSP parameters, presets, per-tab enable flags, and license metadata — is stored locally via the browser's storage API and never leaves your device.

License validation. The only outbound network calls are to Lemon Squeezy's license API (api.lemonsqueezy.com/v1/licenses) for activate, validate, and deactivate operations on paid licenses. The activate call sends your license key and a randomly generated per-install ID (a UUID, sent as the activation instance name). The validate and deactivate calls send the license key and the Lemon Squeezy-issued instance ID returned at activation. No store ID, audio, page content, page URLs, tab data, or browsing history is included in any of these requests. On uninstall, the browser opens a Lemon Squeezy deactivation URL carrying only the license key and instance ID as query parameters, so your activation slot is freed automatically.

Permissions. TabDSP accesses the audio of tabs you explicitly enable it on, solely to process the playback you hear. It does not access tabs you have not enabled.
