PageBunker geliştiren: elitekid

PageBunker is a Chrome, Edge, and Firefox extension that saves the article you are reading to your own device. No account, no server. Saved articles open offline and after the original page is gone, full-text search covers the body, and a backup file is kept in your Downloads folder. MIT licensed. No device sync, no mobile app.

HOW TO SAVE
- Click the toolbar button, then "Save this article" in the panel that opens.
- Press Alt+Shift+L (Option+Shift+L on Mac).
- Right-click the page and choose "Save this article".

WHAT GETS SAVED
- Title, author, publish date, and the article body: paragraphs, headings, lists, quotes, code, and tables.
- Ads, menus, and comments are left out.
- The article body is stored locally in your browser, so you keep the text rather than only a bookmark.
- If extraction fails, PageBunker saves the link instead; a link-only item does not contain an offline article.

READING
- Once the article body has been saved, you can reopen its text offline, even if the original page is removed.
- Images are not archived for offline reading. Loading images or opening the original page requires a connection to that website.
- Adjust font size, line spacing, and width. Light and dark themes.
- Remembers where you stopped reading.
- Marks an article as read when you reach the end. You can turn this off.
- Images are not loaded by default, so no request goes to the original site. Click "Show images" in an article, or turn them on in settings.

LIBRARY
- To read, Read, Archive, and Trash. Articles in Trash are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Sort, add tags, and select multiple articles at once.

SEARCH
- Full-text search covers the saved article body as well as titles, sites, and tags in English and Korean.
- You can find a phrase from the text even when you do not remember the title.
- In our test with 1,000 articles, search finished within 0.34 seconds (Mac mini, Chrome).

IMPORT

Preview before importing. Imports add links, not downloaded article bodies. Open an available original page and save it to add its text. An import can be undone as a whole. Importing links does not recover deleted source pages.

BACKUP AND RESTORE
- When your articles change, PageBunker writes a backup file (pagebunker-latest.json) to a PageBunker folder in your Downloads folder.
- If your articles changed, it also writes a dated file at most once a day and keeps the latest 7.
- The browser keeps the 3 most recent copies as well.
- Your working library stays in the browser. Uninstalling removes the browser library, but the backup file remains unless it is deleted separately.
- Reinstall PageBunker and restore that file to recover the backed-up library. Choose merge or replace. A replace can be undone once.

EXPORT
- Export selected articles as a single HTML file or as one Markdown file per article.

PRIVACY
- No account is needed to save, read, or search your library.
- PageBunker does not upload your articles to a developer-operated server.
- No data is sent to the developer.
- No analytics, ads, or tracking code.
- The extension makes no network requests on its own. A site receives a request only when you open the original page or load images.

PERMISSIONS
- activeTab: reads the article only in the tab where you use PageBunker.
- scripting: runs the article extraction code in that tab.
- storage, unlimitedStorage: store your saved articles.
- downloads: writes backup and export files.
- alarms: schedules backups and cleans up the trash.
- contextMenus: adds the right-click menu item.
PageBunker does not request access to all websites. Because of the downloads permission, Firefox shows "Download files and read and modify the browser's download history" at install.

PageBunker is free and MIT licensed. It has no automatic device sync, mobile app, or highlighting feature. You can transfer a backup file manually to another computer. English and Korean interface.
