Extensions Update Tracker does not collect, transmit, sell, or share data. It makes no network requests. Everything it records stays in browser extension-local storage on the user's device.

To detect add-on updates, it stores installed add-on IDs, names, icon references, current and previous versions, detection times, read state, notification settings, and muted add-ons. Firefox does not support the Chromium-only auto-disable feature, so that setting is absent from this Firefox build.

The add-on has no host permissions or content scripts and cannot read visited pages, browsing history, page content, or form input. It has no accounts, analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, advertising, or developer-operated backend.

Uninstalling a tracked add-on removes its history. Resetting settings restores preferences. Uninstalling Extensions Update Tracker causes Firefox to remove its extension-local storage.
