Cursor Duck geliştiren: IT-Reiser

A little duck paddles across every website, following your mouse pointer —
drawn entirely procedurally, without a single image asset, so she is
pixel-crisp at any size.

WHAT SHE CAN DO
• Follows your cursor with real physics: she turns into her swimming
direction, tilts her body toward her course, leaves a wake, and sprints
when she falls behind.
• Free roam: switch off "Follows the cursor" and she lives on the page
instead — her own routes, sometimes on foot, naps whenever she feels like
it, and curious when your cursor rests nearby.
• Watches your cursor: head and body visibly track your pointer. Type into
a text field and she watches the field instead.
• Petting: wiggle the cursor over her → hearts, blushing cheeks, happy quacks.
• Feeding: double-click to toss bread crumbs — she picks them up one by one,
and the ducklings join the feast.
• Fish hunt: every now and then a fish shadow passes by. She chases it —
and doesn't always catch it.
• Visitors: every few minutes a wild duck stops by — quack duet with
hearts included.
• Music & video: when a video or song with sound plays on the page she
dances along — and now and then a little disco ball throws a party for
the whole family.
• Dancing: wiggle the cursor quickly next to her → she dances.
• Peekaboo: rest the cursor on her → she dives and pops up right next to it.
• Dizziness: circle the cursor around her → she gets woozy.
• Selection snack: select text near her → she nibbles at its edge.
• Shore leave: she climbs out and waddles a circle across the page.
• Scroll current: scrolling briefly sweeps the duck family along.
• Night mode: after 10 pm she gets sleepy sooner and dreams in little stars.
• Napping, dabbling, diving, preening, bathing, pirouettes and more —
she keeps herself busy, too.
• Up to 6 fluffy ducklings swim behind her in a row; at bedtime she tucks
them into a nest first.
• Focus mode: on password fields and fullscreen videos she steps aside.
• Touchscreens: she follows your finger — tap her to quack.

39 MODELS
Mallard, Rubber Duck, Mandarin Duck, Swan, Goose … plus fantasy ducks like
Pirate, Wizard, Cyber Duck, Galaxy Duck, the Tycoon Duck with her gold
hoard, the IT Duck who falls asleep at her laptop and debugs with a rubber
duck, or the legendary Golden Duck. Seasonal: Pumpkin Duck in October,
Christmas Duck in December, New Year Duck in January, Valentine Duck in
February and an Easter Duck. Rare models are marked; the dice button picks
one at random.

WARDROBE
15 hats and 6 pairs of glasses for any model — each piece unlocked by an
achievement.

ACHIEVEMENTS
63 badges in bronze, silver, gold and diamond tiers — from petting fan and
"It was THIS big!" through "Legacy system" to the 30-day "Regular".

SETTINGS
Size, speed, distance to the cursor, number of ducklings, playfulness,
opacity, nap timer, follow the cursor or free roam, effects, reflection,
sound with volume (real CC0 recordings, off by default), a name for your
duck, a soundboard and a model search — everything applies instantly.
Individual sites can be paused (editable list). Honors your system's
"reduce motion" setting. Alt+Shift+D toggles the duck. Fully available in
English and German.

PRIVACY
No data collection, no network access, no external dependencies.
The duck lives on its own canvas with pointer-events: none — clicks,
text selection, and page layout remain untouched.

WEBSITE & IDEAS
Try her without installing anything at https://cursorduck.com — the same duck
swims there. The site also has a wishing pond: toss in your feature ideas and
vote for the ones you like.

New in 1.8.0:

💻 IT duck: Hoodie, headphones, thick glasses and her own laptop: when she gets sleepy she types a few lines, nods off and face-plants onto the keyboard — screensaver included. In between she debugs with a rubber duck and drops lines like “It works on my machine.”

🧭 Free roam: New switch in the popup: turn off “Follows the cursor” and she lives on the page instead — swims and waddles her own routes, naps when she feels like it, and comes over for a peck when your cursor rests nearby.

🎩 Wardrobe & achievements: Headphones and nerd glasses for every model, unlocked by the IT duck's laptop naps — three new badges, 63 in total.
