It was a pleasure having and using a singular source when correcting papers. I regard Mr. Schmiedge's effort as one more step on the road towards a good single source.

Extension does not come up in website. I would use the extension if it was available to use.

I find there are often dozens of words and Canadian spellings this dictionary doesn't pick up, daily. Stuff that should be straight forward. From haemoglobin to borealis. How could these not be in there, but lots of stuff like this. Any time I comment there are legitimate words I constantly have to add, after vetting them with dictionaries. It's like not having a dictionary add on.

Canadian English is something of an orphan as no official Canadian English dictionary has been updated for at least 20 years. But it is nice to have an option that is neither UK English (no, we don't have tyres) nor US English (I utter colourful language when it's not a metre, darn it!). Thank you et merci, Paul Schmiedge.
