AgentOnWeb Privacy Policy — effective September 9, 2026

AgentOnWeb displays a locally running DeepSeek Harness (DSH) workspace over websites. The extension stores display preferences and a randomly generated connection credential in local browser storage. The companion DSH plugin stores credential hashes and a workspace navigation bookmark on your computer. Tab identifiers and website origins coordinate the overlay and authenticated local runtime session.

AgentOnWeb does not operate an analytics service, advertising service, or developer-hosted data backend. The extension does not send browsing history, underlying website content, prompts, or connection credentials to the AgentOnWeb developer. It does not sell personal information or track users for advertising.

The embedded workspace is provided by DSH. Anything you type, attach, or authorize in DSH is handled by DSH and the providers or plugins you configure under their own policies. These services may process data outside your computer. AI conversations are not guaranteed to stay offline. AgentOnWeb itself does not automatically scrape or transmit the underlying webpage to a model.

Website, storage, tab, cookie and alarm permissions support the overlay and local connection. You may limit website access, disable/uninstall the extension, or revoke the connection in DSH Settings > AgentOnWeb. Local DSH data remains managed by DSH.
