WHAT IT DOES

CLEAN EXTRACTION
Click the okcook icon on any recipe page to get the title, ingredients with quantities, and numbered steps. Tips and asides buried in instructions are separated out, keeping the steps focused on what you actually need to do. Recipe roundup pages get navigation arrows to move between recipes.

EFFORTLESS SCALING
Enter a multiplier or target number of servings and every quantity updates automatically, displayed as proper fractions such as 1½ cups and ¾ tsp instead of decimals.

SMART SHOPPING LISTS
Switch to Shopping Mode, check off what you already have, and copy the rest. Organize by recipe section, supermarket aisle, or consolidate everything with duplicate ingredients merged and quantities combined.

ONE SHOP FOR THE WHOLE WEEK
Add recipes to the Meal Planner and okcook combines them into one grocery list. “1 cup flour” + “½ cup flour” becomes “1½ cups flour.” Scale each recipe independently, then export the list as a self-contained web page for offline use, share it through your device's share sheet, or copy it as plain text.

PANTRY TRACKING
Mark staples you always have and they'll be pre-checked on every shopping list. Run out? Untick an item and it stays on the list, clearly marked as a pantry item.

COOK MODE
A full-screen, step-by-step view with ingredients one tap away, section labels to keep track of each component, and a screen that stays awake while you cook. Making multiple dishes? Multi-Cook keeps them all in sync.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Out of buttermilk? Tap the swap icon on any ingredient for tested substitutes, ratios, and notes. Covers 15 searchable categories.

RECIPE BOOK
Bookmark recipes directly from the pages where you find them and add them to a meal plan whenever you're ready to cook.

Most recipe sites, including sites using JSON-LD structured data, WP Recipe Maker, Tasty Recipes, Easy Recipe System, Penci themes, and standard semantic HTML.

PRIVACY

Your meal plans, recipe book, pantry, and settings stay on your device. No account, analytics, trackers, or ads. Nothing is uploaded while you browse or cook.

Only two things ever leave your browser, and only when you explicitly ask: the recipe page is fetched when you add a recipe by URL, and a feedback report is sent when you submit the feedback form.
