Copy or export the Gmail conversation you have open as clean plain text or JSON.

MailClip adds a small Gmail toolbar popup. No account or setup is required. Open a conversation, click MailClip, then choose Copy, Export .txt, or Export .json.

• Copy conversation - copies the whole thread to your clipboard as readable plain text.
• Export .txt - downloads a formatted text file.
• Export .json - downloads a structured, pretty-printed JSON file with the subject, thread metadata, participants, messages, timestamps, and bodies.

MailClip automatically expands collapsed messages and Gmail's grouped "N more" sections before reading the thread, then restores your view as closely as Gmail allows. Turn on Include attachments to add visible attachment names and sizes. Attachment contents are never downloaded.

Private by design. Everything is processed locally in your browser. MailClip makes no network requests, has no telemetry or analytics, and does not store your conversations. It only runs on mail.google.com.

Good to know:

• Gmail is the only supported provider. MailClip is not affiliated with Google.
• Firefox desktop 140 or later is required.
• Gmail's basic HTML view and mobile web UI are not supported.
• Gmail may clip extremely large messages. Attachment details are best-effort.
• Messages are exported in the order they appear in Gmail.
