DislikeLens shows the real dislike count on YouTube videos and Shorts — right where the rating buttons are — so you can judge a video before you watch it.

YouTube removed public dislike counts, and without them it is hard to tell a genuinely useful video from one that everyone regretted clicking. DislikeLens brings that context back with a small, fast, privacy-friendly add-on.

HOW IT WORKS
DislikeLens reads the video ID from the YouTube page you are already on and asks the open Return YouTube Dislike API for that video's publicly archived dislike count. Nothing else is sent. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.
