Auto Wipe - Browser Data Cleaner од Aleff

Auto Wipe is a lightweight privacy-focused Firefox extension that helps you automatically clean selected browsing data without relying on external services.

The extension can clear browsing history, browser cache, download history, cookies, Local Storage, IndexedDB, and registered service workers. You can choose exactly which data categories should be removed and select the desired time range: the last hour, the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, or all time.

Auto Wipe includes three convenient presets:

Light – clears only the browser cache.
Standard – clears browsing history, cache, and download history.
Full – performs a more complete cleanup that also includes cookies and website storage.

Cleanup can be started manually from the extension popup or automated. Auto Wipe can run when Firefox starts, when the last browser window closes, or according to a recurring schedule. Scheduled cleanup can run every hour, every day, or every week.

Clearing download history only removes entries from Firefox's download list. It does not delete downloaded files from your computer.

Auto Wipe is designed with privacy in mind. It does not contain advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking, or remote code. It does not send browsing information to external servers and does not require an account. Cleanup operations are performed directly through Firefox's built-in WebExtension APIs.

Extension settings are stored using Firefox's extension storage APIs, while basic information about the latest cleanup operation is stored locally so that the extension can display its status.

The extension requests only the permissions required for its functionality:

browsingData – to remove the browsing data selected by the user.
storage – to save cleanup preferences and the latest cleanup status.
alarms – to provide optional hourly, daily, or weekly automatic cleanup.

Auto Wipe is open source and designed to remain simple, transparent, and dependency-free. There is no build process, no minified or obfuscated source code, and no third-party JavaScript libraries.
