Previous versions of the extension are known to have bugs on many websites due to audio isolation features. These bugs might cause the audio to be muted or break the interface of some websites. We recommend updating the extension to the latest version.

The add-on's settings might be a bit unclear, so to clarify: This extension does not require signing up. It can be used without an API token, completely for free. Please do not sign up for an API token unless you want to use our music recognition API (application programming interface). We ask you don’t sign up for an account just to use the extension; you can use the extension without an API account or token. (Sign-ups create a burden on our side, as we’re paying an authentication provider depending on the number of users.)

If you experience something like "Recognition failed: authorization failed: wrong api_token" on a version 3.2.2+ of our extension, this is not supposed to happen; please report it and share your OS, Firefox, and extension versions.
