Version 1.0.3 focuses on improving clarity and reducing visual ambiguity while reading scientific content. Concept highlighting is now restricted to meaningful body text only, intentionally avoiding page titles, navigation menus, buttons, and other interface elements. This ensures that highlights appear where readers expect explanatory support, without interfering with page structure or navigation.
Concepts continue to be highlighted only on first occurrence, with concise definitions revealed on hover. Highlights are now visually differentiated by domain while preserving the page’s original typography and enforcing high-contrast black text for readability. As with previous releases, all definitions are explicitly written, stored locally, and applied without collecting data or altering the source content.
This update introduces no changes to permissions, privacy guarantees, or data handling. It is a refinement of presentation and interaction, designed to make ARC feel quieter, clearer, and more predictable during focused reading.
Each domain now contains 100 terms and definitions.
