VORASENSE PRIVACY POLICY

DATA COLLECTION:
- Analysis Data: When you choose to scan a conversation, the extension sends the text, sender name, and timestamp of incoming messages to the Vorasense API for analysis.
- Privacy Guarantee: We do NOT store the raw message text or the full AI-generated explanation on our servers. Only anonymized metadata (scam category, risk score, and detected red flags) is logged to track usage and improve detection accuracy.

LOCAL STORAGE:
- Conversation Cache: The extension stores a local history of analyzed conversations (up to 100) and messages (up to 500 per chat) in your browser's local storage to provide a history view. This data never leaves your device except for the real-time analysis mentioned above.
- Security: Sensitive data like access tokens and device IDs are encrypted using AES-GCM before being stored locally.
- Settings: Your preferred language and auto-scan preferences are stored locally.

DATA USAGE:
- We use the submitted message data solely to perform scam detection analysis.
- We do not share or sell your data to third parties.
- All communications with our servers are encrypted via HTTPS.

USER CONTROL:
- You can clear all local storage, including conversation history and tokens, at any time through the extension settings.
- You choose which conversations to submit for manual analysis.
