    Can you please add an option to change the default shortcut

    You can already do this. Go to the extensions page in Firefox at about:addons, click on the gear (cog) icon near the top right, Manage Extension Shortcuts, scroll down to "Things Quick Entry". Click the delete icon and press your desired shortcut.
