StatFlare Analytics — Privacy Policy

WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES
StatFlare Analytics displays public channel statistics (subscribers, views,
followers, live status, latest-video stats) as an overlay card on YouTube and
Twitch channel pages, with a link through to the full StatFlare dashboard.

WHAT IT READS FROM THE PAGE
Only the page URL. A content script running on youtube.com and twitch.tv
reads the current URL to extract the channel handle or username (for example
"@mkbhd" or "shroud"). It does not read page content, video content,
comments, watch history, or anything else on the page.

It does not access your YouTube or Twitch account, your subscriptions, your
chat messages, or any logged-in state. It has no visibility into anything
that requires you to be signed in to those sites.

WHAT IT SENDS, AND TO WHOM
The extracted channel handle or username is sent to StatFlare's own API at
www.statflare.in — the same public API that powers the StatFlare website — in
order to fetch that channel's public statistics (subscriber count, view
count, follower count, and similar). These requests are marked so that they
are not recorded in StatFlare's search history.

No other data is transmitted. No browsing history, no personal identifiers,
no device fingerprinting, no analytics or telemetry of any kind.

THIRD PARTIES
The only network destination this extension contacts is www.statflare.in. It
contains no analytics SDK, no advertising network, and no third-party
tracker. StatFlare's own backend in turn retrieves the underlying public
statistics from the YouTube Data API and the Twitch Helix API.

PERMISSIONS
- Host permission for www.statflare.in: allows the extension's background
script to fetch channel statistics from StatFlare's API. This is the only
remote host it can reach.
- Content script access to youtube.com and twitch.tv: allows the extension to
detect which channel page you are viewing and to render the overlay card.
It runs in an isolated context and does not modify the underlying page.

STORAGE AND RETENTION
The extension stores nothing locally and keeps no history. Each lookup is a
fresh request, and nothing persists after you close the tab or dismiss the
card. While the card is minimised, no requests are made at all.

YOUR CONTROL
You can dismiss or minimise the card at any time with its close button, and
you can disable or remove the extension from your browser's add-ons page. No
account, no sign-in, and no deletion request is needed, because nothing is
stored.
