Sidebar Toggle does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal or sensitive user data.
• No data collection. The extension does not gather browsing history, personal information, analytics, telemetry, or any page content.
• No remote code or servers. All logic ships inside the extension and runs locally in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
• Local settings only. Your preferences — which sites are enabled and what is currently hidden — are saved via the browser's storage.sync API so they sync across your own signed-in browsers (via your Mozilla, Google, or Microsoft account). They are never accessible to the developer.
• Limited site access. The extension only runs on its four supported domains — *.wikipedia.org, old.reddit.com, www.youtube.com, github.com — solely to hide their sidebars/top bars by applying CSS. It does not read, transmit, or modify page content beyond that.
