SafeBrowz is an AI-powered scam and phishing protection extension that checks every page you visit in real time and warns you before you get caught. It uses a 4-layer detection engine: local pattern analysis, security database lookups (Google Safe Browsing, PhishTank, URLhaus), AI brand impersonation detection, and a crowd-powered shared cache.
What it detects:

How it works:
A small shield icon sits in the corner of every page you visit. Green means safe. Yellow means caution. Red means leave the site. Click the shield to see a full security report with domain age, SSL status, and all the checks that ran. Most scans complete in under 100ms via local rules and shared cache.
Privacy first:
No personal data is collected, stored, or sold. No accounts needed. No tracking. Only URLs of suspicious sites are sent to security databases for verification. Your browsing history never leaves your browser.
