When you run an action, the selected website text, your prompt, optional system prompt, follow-up messages, selected model name, and API key are sent securely to OpenAI to generate the response. The extension does not run actions in the background; text is sent only when you choose a context-menu action or send a follow-up from the result modal.

Your OpenAI API key is stored locally in Firefox extension storage. Saved actions and the optional system prompt are stored in Firefox sync storage so they can follow your Firefox account settings across devices.
