PracticeDNA is a consent-based browser workflow activity recorder designed for authorized PracticeDNA users.
After signing in with email and OTP and explicitly enabling Tracking, PracticeDNA records meaningful browser workflow activity and sends the resulting activity records to the PracticeDNA service to create work history and support workflow and process analysis.
Tracked workflow evidence may include page URLs and titles, navigation, meaningful clicks, form interaction metadata, form submissions, file-selection activity, keyboard shortcuts, clipboard actions without clipboard content, scroll progress, tab changes, and other meaningful workflow events.
PracticeDNA is designed to reduce unnecessary browser noise. Mouse movement is not stored as Activity Logs, and ordinary hover activity is used only as temporary context when relevant to a meaningful subsequent action.
Privacy safeguards include:
• Raw typed field values are not recorded as Activity Logs.
• Password and sensitive input fields are suppressed.
• Clipboard contents are not captured.
• File names and file contents are not captured.
• Sensitive authentication, payment/card, CVV, PIN, account and SSN-type webpage fields are excluded or redacted.
• Users can disable Tracking at any time.
• Domains configured as Blacklist are excluded from activity tracking.
PracticeDNA requires an authorized PracticeDNA account. Users authenticate through email and a one-time verification code.
Activity information is transmitted securely to the PracticeDNA service for work-history recording, workflow analysis and authorized PracticeDNA functionality.
VERSION NOTES — 1.9.2
PracticeDNA Firefox v1.9.2 introduces the updated intelligent activity-tracking model.
Key improvements include more meaningful browser-event processing, suppression of mouse-movement noise, contextual hover handling, aggregated form interactions, improved tab-switch detection, stronger Blacklist enforcement, retry handling for failed Activity Log delivery, and Firefox's built-in data-collection consent declarations.
