Minimal X turns X.com (formerly Twitter) into a cleaner, calmer reading space. It hides ads, side panels, engagement numbers, Grok buttons, drawers, and other clutter while keeping the timeline and post controls working.

What it can hide

• Promoted posts and Explore promotions
• The right rail with trends, Verified Orgs, and footer links
• Reply, repost, like, bookmark, and view counts
• Share buttons and Grok buttons on posts
• The bottom-right Grok and Chat launchers
• Grok, Premium, Creator Studio, and Articles in the sidebar
• The "Creators for you" module, the Home composer, and the "See new posts" pill
• Modules above Today's News on Explore

Layout options

• Compact icon-only left sidebar
• Centered timeline when the compact sidebar and hidden right rail are both on

Every option is a toggle in the toolbar popup, with sensible defaults. Cleanup also applies to posts that load as you scroll.

Privacy

Minimal X runs only on x.com. It has no analytics, tracking, or remote code, and collects no data. Your settings are saved in Firefox's own extension storage and sync with your Firefox account if sync is on.
