    Forces you to opt into their "anonymous" data collection and if you decline, it uninstalls itself. Utter bullshit, if you ask me. Pay for IDM or Jdownloader with the adfree installer instead and look up how to disable the ads in it after.

    Declining the data collection = plugin gets uninstalled... Way to force people to agree to be able to continue to use your "product".. yeah I've read your explanation as to "why" but that doesn't justify it imo.. just point people to a github and let them install from a file instead, and tell mozilla to go suck it

    Right know as I'm typing this, the extension and the application work perfect, great new design, useful features, no cpu problems, no capture problems or anything else. I have no idea what some people talk about in the reviews, if you installed it and you have issues with the app or extension, it's most likely from your side, I'm completely okay with it, so if anyone looks for a more humane like review with details and not like bots, here's mine.
    also don't just act like bots and write a straight up bad review, they have a great support, don't be lazy and reach to them.

The anonymous data usage alert was implemented purely to meet Mozilla's stipulations. We place great emphasis on our users' privacy and uphold our devotion to preserving transparency about data utilization.

    Stops working on newest FF versions. Extension losing connection with FDM till FF reloading or extension reenabling.

    be aware when you allow the anonymous data collection, they will steal your cookies = your logged in accounts for all the websites.

    Hello! We'd like to state once more that the FDM extension only transmits the essential data required to initiate downloads in the FDM client, precisely as it used to. We've implemented the recent anonymous data usage notification only to comply with the latest Mozilla’s requirements. We value the privacy of our users and keep maintaininging transparency concerning data usage.
