This is primarily a joke, but a functional one.

"Resist the Internet" is a browser extension that co-opts you in a fight against Surveillance Capitalism. Once installed, the extension will redirect you away from websites of Surveillance Valley and bring you to more privacy-preserving alternatives.

It automatically redirects you to DuckDuckGo instead of Google and translates Google search links to DuckDuckGo. It also automatically translates Google Maps links to OpenStreetMap and Google Translate links to Deepl.

Twitter is redirected to Mastodon.
The other redirects are to be discovered.

Pressing the main big raised fist icon will deactivate all the redirects, and instead pressing the CCTV camera icon will reactivate them.
