— mlatpren, pred 10 meseciI *really* want to like this extension. It's got a lot of promise. But it's a huge resource hog, at least on my system. I have to fiddle with it on any site with even slightly fancy styling, so I can't really justify the performance dip. I tried switching to a CSS injector with some basic rules and it was more reliable and efficient than this. I hope (and have faith) that'll one day change, but for now I can't use this.

- Ocenjeno z 2 od 5— Daineic, pred 4 dneviI've used Dark Reader for YEARS but I'm finally throwing in the towel. At least on Firefox, this extension will lag your browser to death. I spent a whole week trying to trial and error what extensions were causing such huge memory usage issues and constantly causing sites to lag. I figured it was something like ublock, canvas blocker, or chrome mask. Nope. Everything lead back to Dark Reader.
This extension has helped with my eye-strain issues so much. I seriously hate to get rid of it but I can no longer look over the performance issues. Please, figure out a way to make this extension lighter or at least a stripped back version. I would love to come back and write a nicer review. This extension made giant strides since a few years ago; I almost don't need to disable it to unbreak sites. The performance could have been better, though.
