YouTube often sends VP8 or VP9, which can stall, heat a laptop, and drain the battery when hardware decode is missing.

This add-on asks YouTube to send H.264 instead, so the GPU can decode video and playback stays smoother.
Install it if videos stutter, fans spin up, or battery drops too fast.
