Can you add option to hide proxy name, please,? It just consumes space. I've tried to send that to your support email but it's not working "Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently"

Good! If you look for simple manually switch proxy. Not for video site that need more than just simple switch which may not work

Up&down buttons work perfectly.
Switching on-off and changing proxies still need restarting firefox. And it's worse than 3.0.3. On 3.0.3 I could manage to fix it by disabling some addons but this time it seems unfixable.
On 3.0.3 clicking proxy status opens the option window which is very practical. But now it doesn't. You have to do it on add-ons manager panel. It's better on previous version.

Good add-on, but there is an errors when loading the list socks proxy from a file or url

Great add-on, exactly what I need at my job. But could be even better if user can get rid of that annoying add-on bar icon. More and more people do not use add-on bar anymore but somehow your extension pushes this bar to appear again after every Firefox restart, so I have to close it again and again.
Also, it would be good to have an icon showing the selected proxy option e.g. number 1 (G1) for proxy 1, number 2 (G2) for proxy 2, etc. Number can be instead of 'red cross' for non-proxy connection (Gx) and in green color for example
- Disable addon-bar visibility
- Added movable bar

I've just downloaded guifiproxy, it's amazing addon for firefox, but you known different proxy address needs different authorization ( usename and password), but the addon can only have one authorization ( usename and password), may you add the option of set different authorization ( usename and password) for different proxy address

There is still a problem with version-3.0.3 : I have to restart my browser every time I change the proxy with button.
I only use one addon at once. I haven't this problem with version 2.5.
I could not reproduce your problem. Which firefox's version do you use? Do you try it with a new profile? Please contact me by mail ("Support E-mail")

It doesn't work when I disable the proxy, when I want direct connection, even though it show a cross on the button.
anybody else encounter the same problem?

works well for saving passwords for proxy.. Not working with T/Bird version 7 though.. thanks for the effort

Using this with FF 6.0.1 for the automatic proxy authentication - works perfectly! could only be happier if it could require a password before letting users modify the proxy settings (think shared computers - like at a school/restaurant/etc). Thanks Tomas!

You did self promote your add-on in Proxysel page so I tried.
This is not replacement for Proxysel.

The new add-on was a far cry from what I had expected.
not simple, not flexible, user-unfriendly
what's more Import list setting is not working!
Only one proxy can be imported!
I was greatly disappointed at the end that I have to return to Proxysel.

To edit proxy list press ctrl+alt+p or go to Addons->Extensions->GuifiProxy->Preferences

This happens when you use more than one proxy addon at once. Please uninstall/disable other addons when use guifiproxy.

Necesitaba un complemento que me evitara tener que escribir la contraseña para el proxy y solo he encontrado este. De momento funciona muy bien y es muy sencillo de configurar.

This is a well written add-on and in many respects very similar to MultiProxy Switch which has now disappeared from the Mozilla lists but still available direct from the developers web site.
GuifiProxy lacks any facility to quickly open Settings without having to go through Tools / Add-ons . An option in the Tools menu would be much more convenient.
I do not think the toolbar icon is as clear as MultiProxy Switch when showing what proxy is set or if no proxy set.
Where GuifiProxy scores over MultiProxy Switch however is in its ability to import and export lists, but having said that you have to be very careful when importing a list as this will completely overwrite any proxies you have already manually established. This in my opinion is a serious flaw. I made this mistake and had to re-establish a range of proxies which I had not backed up. There should be an option to add to or overwrite completely any existing list. Cancelling at the import stage has no effect because the list has already been overwritten.
Also when adding a new proxy manually it would be more logical not to have to actually click on one of the proxies in settings and then click the add button before the pop-up screen appears.
It would be better to have a facility to automatically sort the list alphabetically like MultiProxy Switch without having to move each proxy up or down.
